BEYOND | Kick-Off meeting in Labin
The Standard project BEYOND (Blue Economy sYnergies fOr sustaiNable Development), approved under the 1st Call for Proposals, is scheduled to have its online Kick-off Meeting on April 23 and 24, 2024 in Labin.
Project BEYOND wants to make offshore wind farms in the Adriatic Sea work together with other ocean industries, not against them. They're studying where to put these wind farms to make sure they don't harm marine life and can even help it grow. By teaming up with experts from both Italy and Croatia, they're creating a plan that considers everything from fishing to tourism. They're also looking into using wind power to make clean fuel for boats, which could help keep the sea clean.
