Following the latest Monitoring Committee meeting held in Ancona at the end of May, Monitoring Committee members had the opportunity to discover how Interreg Italy–Croatia cooperation is delivering tangible results through two on-site study visits. The highlights are now available in a new video on our YouTube channel.
The first visit focused on the Port of Ancona, where MC members explored the work of the ADRIJOROUTES, MILEPORT and CRESPORT projects. The programme included presentations on innovative solutions for maritime transport, cybersecurity and the preservation of maritime cultural heritage, together with an overview of capitalised results and expectations for the new programming period. The visit also featured a demonstration of the digital platform developed by ADRIJOROUTES, followed by a visit to the Arco di Traiano, where the Committee explored the platform’s digital routes.
The second study visit took place at the Conero Regional Park, showcasing the MAPA and RESONANCE projects. Through project presentations and immersive 3D experiences, MC members discovered how Interreg projects are contributing to the protection and sustainable valorisation of natural and cultural heritage. The itinerary included the Park Visitor Centre and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Mezzavalle and Pian Grande case study areas.
The visits provided the Monitoring Committee with an opportunity to see project achievements first-hand, exchange knowledge with project partners and explore solutions developed through cross-border cooperation.
