Project specific objectives
CRESPORT project aims to face the challenges related to Cyber Resilience and Security: the main objective is to empower the defense from cyber attacks and the ability to resume rapidly the systems after a disaster. A more attentive and cross-border approach in this sense is needed in order to improve the cyber resilience and security of the Adriatic Ports through the adoption of a common and joint strategy, in compliance with the international frameworks for cybersecurity of the critical infrastructures. Herewhy CRESPORT will start by improving the awareness and technical skills on cyber resilience and security of participating ports. Then a joint strategy to carry out two pilots devoted to test and evaluate technics, technologies, and countermeasures in general. The final objective is to define a common strategy for the improvement of cybersecurity of the ports.

About section
About
CRESPORT aims to enhance cybersecurity in Adriatic ports. Digitalization, while boosting supply chain competitiveness, also exposes ports to significant risks, necessitating a collaborative approach. By fostering cooperation and joint actions, CRESPORT seeks to strengthen resilience and compliance with international cybersecurity standards.
The project aims to deliver several outputs benefiting ports and stakeholders, including joint actions and training, new IT tools and solutions for data exchange, and a common cybersecurity strategy and master plan. The project's innovation lies in its holistic approach to IT security, recognizing the interconnectedness of ports and their role in maritime connections crucial for economic growth and societal well-being. By strengthening port resilience and integration, CRESPORT aims to ensure the continued prosperity of coastal communities and enhance maritime connectivity in the Adriatic region.
