CRESPORT completes its First Pilot Action: a shared milestone for Adriatic Ports’ cybersecurity

CRESPORT has reached a significant milestone with the successful completion of its First Pilot Action, together with all related deliverables. This result reflects the strong cooperation among all project partners and marks a concrete step forward in the project’s shared path towards stronger cyber security and digital resilience across Adriatic ports.
The technical work now continues with the development and testing of advanced methodologies for port cybersecurity. Current activities focus on:
• The protection of critical digital infrastructure;
• The strengthening of backup and rapid recovery systems;
• The reduction of vulnerabilities linked to destructive cyber threats such as ransomware;
• The prevention of sensitive data loss.
Alongside these technological efforts, CRESPORT continues to invest in training and capacity building, supporting the exchange of knowledge and the growth of cyber maturity across the partnership.
A key role in this phase is also played by the Advisory Board, whose multidisciplinary expertise helps ensure strategic coherence, scientific and technical validation, and alignment with European priorities.
With this first Pilot Action successfully completed, CRESPORT moves ahead with renewed momentum and confidence, paving the way for the next steps.
