On 22 and 23 April 2026, project partners gathered in Rijeka, Croatia, for the 5th Project Meeting, hosted by Art-kino. The meeting represented another important milestone in the project’s journey, providing a valuable opportunity for partners to come together, reflect on progress, and align on the next steps.
Over the course of two intensive and engaging days, partners participated in a series of working sessions focused on reviewing ongoing activities, sharing results, and coordinating future actions. These moments of exchange are essential to ensure the effective implementation of the project and to strengthen collaboration among partners from different countries.
The meeting also featured special activities that highlighted the core themes of REEL. Among them, a cross-border workshop on the use of cinema as a tool to promote tourism, organised by BAM! Strategie Culturali - a team of professionals supporting the Municipality of Venice, partner of the project, in the development of a joint operational methodology capable of combining sustainability, innovation, cross-border cooperation, and cultural enhancement. The workshop offered participants the opportunity to explore innovative approaches and share experiences across different territories.
In addition, partners had the opportunity to attend the screening of "Fiume o morte!" by Igor Bezinović, a moment that further reinforced the connection between cinema, cultural identity, and territorial promotion.
Beyond the formal sessions, the meeting was also an important occasion to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and build a shared vision for the future of the project.
