TRANSPONEXT | Kick-off Meeting in Rijeka
The Standard project TRANSPONEXT (Next chapter in the Transport of Goods), approved under the 1st Call for Proposals, is scheduled to have its Kick-off Meeting on April 23rd, 2024 in Rijeka.
Building on the knowledge gained through the TRANSPOGOOD project (Interreg IT-HR 2014-2020), TRANSPONEXT aims to support the sustainable growth of cross-border intermodal and multimodal connections generated by maritime nodes in the Programme area. This will be achieved through the modernization of ICT tools and the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance the quality, safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability of transport services.
TRANSPONEXT focuses on three main sets of measures to achieve its objectives: preparatory actions and strategic framework, implementation of new solutions, and development and performance of cross-border training schemes. All three approaches are intertwined and essential for the success of project results.
