Taste the destination event and partners meeting in Bari
Within the framework of the project GUSTI – Gastro UpScaled Tourist Itinerary in rural regions of Croatia and Italy, a Taste the Destination event, a round table discussion, and the 4th in-person Project Partner and Steering Committee Meeting will take place in Bari, Italy, from 25 to 27 February 2026, organized by the project partner Puglia Culture.
The Taste the Destination event will be dedicated to sustainable gastro-cultural tourism and will be held within the BTM – Business Tourism Management fair, where project partners will present typical products from their regions through tastings, promotional materials, and audiovisual content. The programme will also include a round table discussion, bringing together project partners and relevant stakeholders to exchange experiences and discuss sustainable gastronomy, destination identity, and the development of experience-based tourism.
In parallel with the public event, project partners will hold the 4th in-person partner meeting, including the Steering Committee session, to review the progress of project activities, the implementation of work packages, the financial status of the project, and the planning of upcoming activities.
The combination of a public promotional event, a round table discussion, and internal coordination meetings further emphasizes the strategic role of the GUSTI project in strengthening cross-border cooperation and advancing sustainable, experience-based gastro-cultural tourism across the participating regions.
