About section
About
Project GUSTI focuses on promoting sustainable gastro-tourism to enhance tourism sustainability through reduced food waste, improved agricultural practices, and the promotion of local and organic foods. It emphasises culinary experiences as a tool for achieving sustainable development goals, fostering economic growth, and promoting social inclusion.
The project aims to diversify tourist flows, increase environmental sustainability, and enhance the competitiveness of the gastronomy tourism sector. Through pilot actions, educational workshops, and digital tools, GUSTI will strengthen cross-border collaboration to develop sustainable destination management practices and promote cultural exchange. This approach supports the EU Green Deal's principles of circular economy and Farm to Fork Strategy, ensuring equitable benefits and fostering economic development across partner regions.
