PAR is the only private institution of higher learning accredited by the Ministry of Science and Education in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia. It was founded in 2011, and since 2012 it has been conducting a bachelor program in Business Management to educate young, modern, and entrepreneurial-oriented people and as a response to the needs of future students who want a different education. Since 2020 it has been conducting a master's program in Business Management, with three offered courses: Management of Small and medium-sized enterprises, Financial Management, and Management in Sports. PAR has strong connections to the Croatian private sector and extensive experience working with small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). PAR provides a range of consulting services, including strategy development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. PAR has a solid record of conducting analytical and research work in private sector development. They focus on MSME policy, entrepreneurship ecosystems, and innovation, combining academic research with practical industry application. PAR has collaborated with Croatian businesses on various initiatives, including capacity building, business strategy, and fostering innovation. These projects often involve in-depth data analysis to support decision-making and drive business growth, showcasing PAR’s capability to transform raw data into actionable insights for private sector development. PAR joined more than 30 international projects as a partner covering: entrepreneurship, digital literacy, zero waste, employability, and finance showing PAR’s general quality framework for mobility and educational programs. The teaching staff is experienced in both academia and industry. As an educational pioneer, PAR gives a lot of significance to the development of innovative and interdisciplinary curricula. Promoting gender equality and women's entrepreneurship has been one of the main objectives of PAR, undertaking numerous activities in support of women's entrepreneurship including NEETs (international conferences, boot camps for young people, summer and winter schools, and startup camps for young women). PAR offers consultancy services in the areas: Designing and writing project proposals (EU programs), European projects management (administrative and financial support) Intellectual services (research, analysis), Dissemination and visibility (organizing multiplier events and conferences, increasing the visibility), Lifelong education (digital marketing manager, PR, and marketing, entrepreneurship, languages, leadership). Additionally, PAR operates the Center for Lifelong Learning (professional development programs, seminars, and in-house training). Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, DigiPARc (Digital Innovation Hub), and GastroHub Academy. The last thing we can boast about is that PAR, as the only higher education institution from the Republic of Croatia, is part of the EU4Dual alliance. EU4Dual is a new alliance of European universities for dual education that lays the foundations for the jobs of the future, encourages the development of the green economy, and supports healthy living. The main goal of the Alliance is to establish a European university for dual higher education. This model of higher education combines higher education teaching with practice in companies where students have the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired as part of the study program in the workplace. The European Alliance of Higher Education Institutions for Dual Education (EU4DUAL) with its network of partners unites education, research, innovation and entrepreneurship at the regional and European level. Drawing on the expertise of all alliance members, the new European university wants to contribute to social transformation and help solve global challenges from climate change to digitization. In addition to EU4dual, Par is part of the consortium on the AI&GAMING EDIH project, which is financed by DIGITAL EUROPE and funds from the National Resilience and Recovery Program 2021-2026,. managed by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. AI & GAMING EDIH acts as a one-stop shop and represents the center of digitization and digital transformation for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and for the public sector in central Croatia and the northern Adriatic. EDIH offers the possibility of introducing all digital technologies into the operations of business entities or institutions from the public sector, with a special focus on the field of artificial intelligence, gamification and Blockchain.
