Programme opportunities presented at school heads' event in Rijeka

On August 25th 2023 JS Manager Mr. Marin Miletić participated in a meeting of the Professional College of School Heads organized by the Italian National Community of the Istrian Region and the coastal mountain Region, to present the funding opportunities offered by the Interreg Italy Croatia Programme 21-27. The meeting also involved the kindergarten directors from Istria e the Primorje-Gorski Kotar Region, with the aim on focusing activities which could be of added value for the Italian National Community Network.
Miletić explained how the Italy Croatia Programme aims at funding projects that foster innovation and blue economy, by capitazing past cooperation experiences and promoting interregional cooperation. Particularly, he provided information on features, objectives, requirements for partnership and procedures relating to tender fundings. “Schools – said Miletić - are given the opportunity to participate in various projects, according to what is more relevant to their activities”.
As a result of the discussion, all participants agreed about the ideas and collaboration proposals made by the SMSI (Scuola Media Superiore Italiana) Director, primarily aimed at boosting the community through joint actions. A key issue that emerged was the need to further spread information and raise awareness among pre-school and school principals and directors, in order to get them involved in project partnerships
