Different waves album is out!

We are delighted to announce that Different Waves is now available to download for free on Bandcamp.
Created by the Ground-to-Sea Sound Collective (Fabio Mina and Emiliano Battistini) and featuring visuals by Mattia Fornaciari, Different Waves is an immersive sound journey into the acoustic underwater world of the Adriatic Sea.
The album combines real underwater recordings, collected using hydrophones, with music to reveal the delicate balance between the voices of marine life and the growing impact of human-made noise.
Different Waves was originally conceived and produced by the Fondazione Cetacea within the Interreg Italy–Croatia SOUNDSCAPE project. The live performance was created as an innovative tool for communicating the importance of underwater soundscapes and marine biodiversity and was continued during the Interreg Italy–Croatia UNDERSEA project.
Building on this experience, CNR ISMAR produced the album within the Interreg Italy–Croatia UNDERSEA project, transforming the performance into a permanent, freely accessible communication resource that continues to raise awareness of underwater noise pollution and the need to protect the Adriatic Sea.
