Our Final Conference in Pula
16/07/2026
Yesterday, 15 July 2026, we hosted our Final Conference in Pula, marking the conclusion of a three-year journey dedicated to strengthening maritime heritage and promoting sustainable tourism across the Northern Adriatic.
The event, co-organised by Centro Consorzi and hosted by the Istrian Development Agency (IDA d.o.o.), welcomed a wide audience of institutional representatives, project partners, experts and local stakeholders. The strong participation and engagement throughout the day reflected the relevance of the project’s themes and the value of its results.
Through the contributions of speakers and participants, the conference traced TOFOLA’s path across territories, highlighting the objectives achieved and the vision that guided the project.
Over the past three years, thanks to the commitment of all those involved, TOFOLA has developed new routes that respond to the needs of the territories and reflect a shared ambition: to promote a more inclusive and sustainable model of tourism.
From respect for the environment to the achievement of higher accessibility standards, the project has worked to ensure that cultural heritage can be experienced by all. Rooted in the maritime tradition of the Serenissima, TOFOLA has combined craftsmanship and innovation, with the aim of passing on knowledge and skills to future generations.
What has been achieved represents an important step forward.
We would like to thank all those who participated in the event, as well as everyone who has contributed to the project from the very beginning or joined along the way. TOFOLA is a shared journey, open to all who wish to be part of it.
