BIOPRESSADRIA was showcased at the 9th European Conference on Scientific Diving, held in the Azores from 15 to 19 June 2026, one of Europe's leading events dedicated to scientific diving and marine research.
The presented poster (below) presented highlights the processing and analysis of data collected within the project, demonstrating the use of 3D photogrammetry as a non-invasive approach for monitoring Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows. The study, carried out in collaboration with our project partner SELC and presented by Simone Modugno (University of Ferrara), showcases how innovative monitoring techniques can support the conservation and sustainable management of marine ecosystems.
Presenting BIOPRESSADRIA at this international conference provided an important opportunity to share the project's objectives and results with the European scientific community, reinforcing the value of cross-border cooperation in addressing anthropogenic pressures on the Adriatic Sea.
BIOPRESSADRIA is developing shared solutions to protect coastal and marine biodiversity and promote the sustainable management of coastal environments.
