PRESPORT contributes to the debate on sustainable and digital logistics

The Port Network Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea participated in the AUTOSUP & CROSSFREIGHT Joint Event, organised in Trieste on 1 July 2026, bringing together European projects and stakeholders working on the transition towards smarter, greener and more resilient freight transport.
During the opening keynote session, the Authority presented the portfolio of European projects currently under implementation, including PRESPORT, which promotes the twin green and digital transition of Adriatic ports through innovative pilot actions and cross-border cooperation.
The discussions focused on the importance of integrating technological innovation with environmental sustainability, governance and stakeholder cooperation. These are all key dimensions that also underpin PRESPORT, where digital solutions are combined with investments supporting more efficient, resilient and sustainable port operations.
The event offered valuable opportunities to exchange experiences with European technology platforms, port authorities, research organisations and logistics operators, fostering new synergies among projects addressing similar challenges across Europe.
