Its vision focuses on transforming ancient maritime traditions into modern opportunities, ensuring that the development of pesca-tourism becomes a driver of economic resilience for local communities.
Alongside Lizzanello’s leadership, Cooperativa Rinascita serves as a catalyst for social and technical innovation. Its contribution is essential in making the transition toward the Blue Economy an inclusive process, where operators and citizens are not merely recipients, but the true protagonists of change. Through skill development and the use of digital tools, Rinascita ensures that economic progress moves hand in hand with social equity.
On the other side of the Adriatic, the City of Krk completes this synergy by bringing its profound experience in managing coastal resources and sustainable Croatian tourism. Its key role consists of mobilizing fishers and local stakeholders, facilitating the exchange of best practices through workshops and meetings. Together, these three partners merge governance, innovation, and territorial roots to protect and enhance the shared heritage between Italy and Croatia.
