The third edition of ASOC ETC Italy-Croatia is entering its final phase. Students from Italian and Croatian secondary schools have teamed up as “twin classes” to conduct civic monitoring on three of our Standard projects: MAPA, TESTEAT, and BLUESLINKS.
After mastering the basics of EU-funded project design and open data, these young researchers moved into the practical phase. They have collected evidence on the ground by engaging with local stakeholders and conducting field visits to understand how these initiatives function in real time. By comparing their findings, the students are discovering how a single Interreg project can have diverse impacts depending on the territory, gaining a deeper understanding of how cohesion policy works in practice.
The teams are now entering the final phase of their journey, putting the finishing touches on their data analysis and creative storytelling. They have until 28 April 2026 to submit their final monitoring reports, after which the best teams will be selected. These will join us for a final ceremony on 25th May 2026 in Ancona. Held during the Interreg Italy-Croatia Annual Event, Youth4Sea, the ceremony will celebrate their hard work and the powerful connections built through cross-border cooperation.
