The TRANSPONEXT project partners recently concluded a productive 5th Steering Committee meeting in Pescara to finalize technical milestones and align on the final phase of project implementation. Building on the progress from previous sessions, this meeting focused on the seamless integration of digital pilots and the rollout of specialized logistics training.
A significant portion of the discussion centered on the Transpogood platform and the finalization of its innovative modules:
- Platform Integration: A strict roadmap was established for the integration of pilot actions, with a final platform launch scheduled for mid-April.
- Testing and Methodology: Partners agreed on a standardized testing methodology to ensure all digital tools undergo rigorous assessment before the public release.
- Pilot Promotion: The partnership reviewed the status and agreed on the format for promotional videos designed to showcase the modernization of intermodal connections across the Italy-Croatia border.
The project is now shifting significant focus toward Work Package 3 and knowledge transfer. Plans were solidified for a comprehensive training scheme targeting at least 20 different organizations. These hybrid sessions will cover strategic scenarios, digital logistics, and sustainable transport, ensuring that the project's technological breakthroughs are effectively adopted by industry stakeholders.
Finally, the partners discussed the roadmap for the conclusion of the project. To ensure all high-quality deliverables are met, a short project prolongation was suggested. Consequently, the Final Conference is now tentatively planned for late September or mid-October at the CFLI premises in Venice, where the full results of the TRANSPONEXT initiative will be presented to the public.
