The Adventures of BoniFè is a fairy tale that explains to new generations, in a simple and enjoyable way, how the hydraulic management in the Ferrara area works, and the importance of teamwork in the prevention of natural risks.
BoniFè is a curious and smart little elephant who experiments with solutions for the humans living near the river and the sea. The character BoniFè has long accompained the Ferrara Plain Reclamation Consortium in educational programs for schools in the area for several years.
The story of The Adventures of BoniFè was born from the imagination of Maria Elena Bacilieri and from the brush of Veronica Cestari.
The English translation was prepared by Tricia Fenech Fabri.
The Adventures of BoniFè is part of the STRENGTH actions aimed at increasing people's awareness and enhancing the community's ability to understand and prevent natural risks and develop strategies to avoid or mitigate damage.
