Participation in the Blue Economy Summit on 19 March 2026

The Blue Economy Summit will be held on Thursday, 19 March 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ecotekne Campus Conference Centre, University of Salento.
The meeting will be dedicated to discussing issues related to the protection of Blue Natural Capital and the opportunities offered by the Blue Economy.
Institutions, universities and students, businesses and research centres will participate with the aim to shared reflection on the impact of economic activities on coastal and marine ecosystems and the prospects for sustainable development.
The participation of the BlueDiversity project in the Blue Economy Summit is a natural step in the collaboration between research, businesses and local communities. The project, which is committed to developing innovative tools to reduce the impact of human activities on marine biodiversity and promoting replicable models of transition to a sustainable Blue Economy, will bring to the meeting its experience in ecosystem protection, the involvement of local actors and the enhancement of economic opportunities linked to sustainability.
