Final Training Meeting for Local Operators in the Po Delta

On 5 February 2026, the third and final training meeting for local operators organised by the Emilia-Romagna Region took place at the Museo d’Arte della città di Ravenna within the framework of the VALUE Plus project.
The meeting marked the conclusion of a three-course capacity-building path aimed at supporting the creation of the Po Delta Tourist and Cultural District. The initiative brought together 29 participants (in person and online), including public authorities, tourism operators, and local stakeholders, to strengthen cooperation and promote a shared model of sustainable and accessible tourism.
Speakers from the Municipality of Ravenna, CAST – University of Bologna, and Visit Romagna presented the integrated district framework, the Action Plan model, and the Marketing Plan. A focus group session allowed participants to share proposals and identify concrete actions for the development of the Po Delta Cultural District.
The contributions collected will feed into the finalisation of the Action Plan and the definition of governance agreements, reinforcing a collaborative and integrated vision for the sustainable enhancement of the Po Delta area.
