Info Days & One-Stop-Shop Consulting Activities for Fisheries Tourism SMEs

We a kickin 2026 off with the newest edition of our informational events (Info Days), which will be organized to promote innovation, growth, and specialization for the fisheries tourism cluster (pescaturismo and ittiturismo). These events will be followed by targeted consulting activities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) under activity ACT.2.3 – Info Day and exchange of innovative services for fisheries tourism and SMEs.
A survey among stakeholders and service centers, along with participatory processes conducted in the early phases of the project, revealed knowledge and skill gaps that limit the development potential of the fisheries tourism sector.
The Info Days and consulting activities aim to:
- Address key issues identified within the cluster
- Provide SMEs with tools and guidance to reduce environmental impact, improve social responsibility, and enhance reputation with customers and stakeholders
- Support SMEs in developing destination management plans, community-based tourism initiatives, and sustainable seafood certifications
- Introduce digital platforms and crowdfunding opportunities to boost business growth and competitiveness
What to expect:
- Modules led by sector experts nominated by project partners
- Topics include sustainable business practices, tourism destination management, community-based initiatives, digital tools for tourism, sustainable seafood certification, and crowdfunding platforms
- Consulting Activity – One-Stop-Shop - request a personalized consultation with a sector expert on a topic of interest

The activities are open to SMEs in the fisheries tourism, fisheries, and aquaculture sectors that are interested in fishing tourism and have their legal and operational seat in the Italy-Croatia Programme area.
The event will take place on the 16th of March 2026 in Cesenatico (FC), Italy, with Italian SMEs: in-person and Croatian SMEs online. To find out more about participation and conditions, check out the call of interest.
