As part of the AdriaClimPlus project, the second summer school will take place from 19 to 24 July 2026 in Split, Croatia, hosted by the Ruđer Bošković Institute at the University of Split, Three-Faculties Building

The Advanced Summer School is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of climate change processes and adaptation challenges in the Adriatic region through an interdisciplinary and research-oriented programme.

The programme will focus on three main thematic areas:

Through lectures, practical exercises and collaborative activities, participants will explore advanced scientific approaches for understanding climate change impacts, developing climate projections and supporting adaptation planning.

The summer school will also provide an opportunity for knowledge exchange among students, researchers and experts working on climate change adaptation, fostering international cooperation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

By strengthening scientific skills and encouraging innovative approaches to problem-solving, the Advanced Summer School aims to support the next generation of climate professionals and researchers contributing to a more resilient Adriatic region.
