Dissemination Day in Trieste - Area Science Park
On 22 June 2026, Area Science Park will host and organise a dissemination event within the framework of the BEST 4.0 project, co-funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme.
The event will bring together SMEs operating in Blue Economy sectors that participated in the initiative, providing an opportunity to share experiences, discuss the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation, and present the results achieved throughout the project.
A key speaker at the event will be Paolo Omero, CEO of InfoFactory, a company specialising in data science, Artificial Intelligence and digital innovation. Throughout the project, Mr Omero worked closely with participating companies, helping them better understand the potential of Artificial Intelligence, assess practical business applications, and identify concrete opportunities for innovation and digital transformation within their organisations.
In addition to Paolo Omero, the event will host other distinguished speakers and experts who will share their knowledge and experience in digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0, providing valuable insights for SMEs operating in Blue Economy sectors.
The agenda will include a discussion on how SMEs perceive and approach Artificial Intelligence today, followed by the presentation of the results achieved through the services delivered within the project. Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange ideas, network with peers, and explore how digital technologies can support business innovation and competitiveness.
