Custom Detail
As part of the activities planned within the FORTIC project (D.3.2.2), the Municipality of Cervia will organise the workshop “FORTIC – Accessibility and Inclusion” on 9 June 2026, dedicated to the involvement of vulnerable groups in the planning of the local cultural and tourism offer.
The initiative, developed with the support of Clust-ER Tourism Emilia-Romagna, is part of a co-design process aimed at drafting an operational manual for the universal accessibility of cultural and memory sites. The goal is to collect contributions, experiences, and needs directly from local stakeholders in order to make cultural heritage increasingly accessible, inclusive, and socially usable.
The workshop will involve associations, public entities, social cooperatives, and organizations working in the fields of disability and social inclusion, as well as tourism, all invited to contribute to the development of shared and replicable guidelines for the partner territories involved in the project. In preparation for the meeting, participants will be asked to complete a dedicated questionnaire focused on physical, sensory, cognitive, digital, and social accessibility within cultural sites.
The methodological handbook developed within the FORTIC project aims in particular to improve access to cultural heritage, integrate innovative digital and organisational solutions, and promote an approach consistent with the principles of universal design, contributing to the development of more equitable and inclusive cultural models.
