CYROS Project Study Visit & 6th Project Meeting in Bari
The Apulia Region, partner of the Interreg Italy - Croatia CYROS Project – "Implementation, in the Programme area, of the EUSAIR flagship and crosspillar project idea Adriatic Ionian CYcle ROute for Sustainable tourism" – is pleased to announce the study visit to the Cycle Route of Acquedotto Pugliese (AQP) and the 6th Project Meeting, which will take place on the 31st March 2026 and on the 1st April 2026 in Bari, Italy.
The first event will start in the morning with a session of thematic presentations in the hall B of Apulia Region’s headquarters in via Giovanni Gentile n. 52 in Bari. In the afternoon, the Apulia Region’s initiative will continue on the Cycle Route of Acquedotto Pugliese (AQP), a successful model of integrated cycle tourism infrastructure and environmental enhancement, where the partners will take part in a guided bicycle tour from Pineta Ulmo to Monte Fellone.
This visit is an opportunity to share with project partners not only the results of the efforts undertaken by the Apulia Region in the field of soft and sustainable mobility, but also the experience of a cycling tour throughout ancient buildings, centuries-old olive trees, and expanses of Mediterranean scrub, all elements that reflect the history and local traditions of Apulia Region.
The second event will take place in the same hall of the previous day, and it represents an opportunity to talk about the project's progresses and upcoming activities.
