Presentation of the Revised Wetland Contract in Rovinj by Natura Histrica
PP5- PI Natura Histrica will organize the final conference presenting the revised Wetland Contract for the Special Ornithological Reserve Palud – Palù, which will be held on 22 April 2026 in Rovinj.
The conference will bring together stakeholders and locals, and will present the results of the revision process and discuss future steps for the sustainable management of Palud.
The revision process included a stakeholder meeting held on 26 February 2026 and a series of stakeholder workshops held on 3 March 2026, where participants from different sectors actively discussed key topics such as the impact of tourism on the environment, local effects of climate change and adaptation measures, and the methodology of a sociological survey assessing public awareness of protected natural areas.
The conference will present the outcomes of these discussions and mark the final step in strengthening stakeholder cooperation and advancing the sustainable management of Palud.
