Following the successful Kick-Off Meeting in Krk and the launch of the first implementation activities, the DYGOV partnership is moving forward with preparations for the activities that will shape the project’s work over the coming months.
DYGOV aims to strengthen youth participation in local and cross-border decision-making by connecting young people, public authorities and civil society through innovative participatory approaches. The project combines institutional cooperation, digital tools and youth-led initiatives to create new opportunities for young people to take an active role in the democratic life of their communities.
As the implementation phase progresses, the coming period will focus on preparing the foundations for several key project activities. These include the development of the CitiSpace Digital Youth Participation Platform, preparations for the Bi-National CitiGEN Youth Advisory Council, stakeholder engagement and the organisation of the first Transnational Capacity-Building Workshop, planned for October 2026.
Communication and regular exchange with stakeholders are an important part of this process. Through the project’s communication channels, DYGOV will share information about upcoming activities, opportunities for participation, project milestones and results, while also highlighting the experiences and contributions of young people and project partners.
The project’s social media channels will provide a space to follow DYGOV beyond individual project events and activities. They will offer regular updates from both sides of the Italy–Croatia border and help create a wider community around the project’s themes of youth participation, digital governance, civic engagement and cross-border cooperation.
