TOFOLA has published its Final Booklet, a comprehensive document outlining the methodology behind the development of its cross-border tourism products.
The booklet serves as both a report and a practical framework, documenting the full process - from resource mapping to stakeholder engagement, co-design, and implementation - offering a replicable model for future initiatives .
Built on a shared “Forest-to-Sea” narrative, the approach connects natural environments, cultural heritage and local communities into integrated tourism experiences, moving beyond isolated attractions towards cohesive territorial storytelling.
The key insight: long-term sustainability in tourism is achieved when environmental, social and economic factors are addressed together, through coordinated governance and active stakeholder involvement.
With this publication, TOFOLA leaves a concrete legacy, providing tools and knowledge to inspire new sustainable tourism pathways across Europe.
