Key actors, partnerships and stakeholder mapping
26/05/2026
The purpose of this report is to support the closure of the reporting period and contribute to the definition of the final business plans for the four itineraries developed throughout the project.
The development of these itineraries builds on a structured stakeholder engagement process carried out across all project areas. This initial phase, presented in the first part of the deliverable reports, focused on identifying and involving key local actors, categorising them according to their role, influence, and potential contribution to sustainable tourism development.
Through a shared methodology combining stakeholder mapping and participatory consultation, the activity provided a comprehensive understanding of local ecosystems and governance dynamics. The insights collected form a common knowledge base to support the next phases of the project.
Methodology and activity organization
Each project partner was tasked with mapping the key points of interest that define the unique characteristics of their territory.
To support this process, a shared mapping approach was introduced and applied across all project areas. This helped partners identify and organise relevant stakeholders, from local organisations to individual actors, building a clear picture of those involved in shaping each territory.
Rather than simply listing contacts, the activity focused on understanding how these actors can contribute and on defining concrete ways to engage them. This ensured a consistent and coordinated approach, turning the mapping into a practical tool to activate collaboration and support the creation of meaningful tourism experiences.
Towards a shared business vision
This deliverable brings together the key insights collected across all project areas, mapping the specific needs and distinctive features of each itinerary. By structuring this knowledge, it provides a solid foundation for the final phase of the project: the development of clear and effective business plans, ensuring the long-term sustainability and valorisation of the four tourism experiences.
