High Level Training Day on Digital Twin applications in Port ecosystem
Digital Twins (DT) is the digitization tool that will change port and shipping logistics.
The DIGITPORTS project, under the EU Interreg Italy Croatia 2021-2027 program, was created to implement the use of this technology, toward the creation of an efficient and scalable logistic network.
The stakes are high and the benefits are clear: greater efficiency and interoperability among Adriatic Sea ports, better use of resources and increased performance, including in terms of sustainability.
Goals that need both technological and cultural change, cooperation and a lot of theoretical and practical training.
These are the topics that will be addressed next January 28, from 10 am to 6 pm, in a full day of High Level Training organized by the Lead Partner of the DIGITPORTS project, the Port System Authority of the Northern Adriatic Sea - Ports of Venice and Chioggia, in collaboration with the Order of Engineers of Venice and with the technical partnership of ESRI Itala.
An not-to-miss day of training, packed with contributions from top-level speakers, with analysis of international best practices, theory and practice of DT applications and their impacts also as a tool for stakeholder engagement.
