Catalogue of macroalgae for IMTA systems in the Adriatic coastal area

The following catalogue presents the valuable autochthonous macroalgae identified within the BIOBASED project in the Adriatic coastal area. It supports the selection of seaweed species and strains suitable for testing in Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture systems, contributing to the development of sustainable aquaculture practices and the valorisation of marine biomass through a blue biorefinery approach.

This section provides access to both an Excel file and a PDF version of the catalogue. The PDF document includes images to facilitate consultation, recognition, and identification of the species.
