This work package focuses on establishing a robust ecosystem monitoring and characterization framework for multilayered coastal aquifers. It aims to update the status of coastal water resources through cross-border collaboration, integrating hydrological, oceanographic, and meteorological data. Activities include the installation of monitoring infrastructure, field sampling, hydrogeochemical and isotope analyses, and public communication efforts to raise awareness. The collected data will support model development and guide decision-making to improve resilience and sustainable water management in coastal areas. This activitiy focuses on the comprehensive characterization of the Italian (IT) and Croatian (CR) study areas from geological, hydrogeological, hydrological, and climatic perspectives. Documents contains extensive information on local conditions found at the site.

Unique and interactive web tool “Hydro-cloud”
This activity focused on the planning and development of the "Hydro-cloud," an interactive, user-friendly web-based tool designed to provide access to hydrological and environmental data.
WP3
Numerical models development
This work package focuses on strengthening the capacity to mitigate the negative effects of climate change-induced droughts in coastal areas. It combines classical modeling with cloud and deep learning technologies to develop a powerful tool for forecasting and decision-makin.

Planning and implementation of the monitoring systems
This activity established and implemented comprehensive monitoring systems at pilot sites in Italy and Croatia to track groundwater quality and hydrological changes. The following documents outlined the planning, setup, and reporting of the monitoring infrastructure.
Communication of project results
Communication & Media Library
This activity aimed to share the project's scientific achievements and practical knowledge through the publication of four peer-reviewed scientific papers, the creation of an e-flipbook showcasing key project content and expected outcomes, and a report on an e-learning course designed to enhance climate change resilience in coastal systems.
