From 4 to 6 November 2019 the first partners' coordination meeting of the PEPSEA project was held in Palmanova (Italy). 

During the first day the discussion topic focused on floating microplastics, monitoring system of the transitional waters and underwater acousticmonitoring in the gulf of Trieste and possible developments of modeling in the prediction of pollution events development (e.g. oil spills from boat accident or loss) and the consequent possible preventions. 

The second day, instead, saw a more "technical" day aimed at the operational discussion of the project (action plan, reporting obligations for all partners, coordination for future implementation steps).

The final day saw a division of work and a definition of the details of subsequent live meetings, proposing Bari as the next step of the journey.
