MOSES project contributed to promote the development of connections of ports with the hinterland by improving passenger services at the port hubs and encouraging the provision of ICT solutions for reception, information and ticketing services.

Also for these purposes Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, lead partner, carried out its pilot action to increase a sustainable maritime fast-line tran sport service for passengers on the maritime transport routes between Italy and Croatia.

Friuli Venezia Giulia Region was involved in the pilot action aimed at redefining the Trieste-Istria shipping line for the summer of 2018, providing for the extension of two days a week to the towns of Mali Lošinj, directly, and Sansego (Susak), indirectly, thanks to the coincidences with the existing ferries that connect it to Lošinj.
