ADRIAVIVA Cross-Border Workshop in Fermo

02/11/2026

From 28 to 30 October 2026, the ADRIAVIVA project partners gathered in Montegiorgio, Italy, for a three-day cross-border workshop aimed at harmonising the jointly developed narrative and consolidating the integrated cross-border story connecting Istria and the Marche region.

The workshop focused on defining connections between characters, places and local stories, identifying shared messages and narrative perspectives that visitors will encounter along the itineraries.

Activities included presentations of the developed itineraries, on-site testing, feedback sessions and collaborative work in mixed cross-border groups. Participants assessed narrative content, organisation, logistics, communication and accessibility, identifying improvements to strengthen the overall visitor experience.

The workshop concluded on 30 October with a public presentation and press conference at the Municipality of Montegiorgio, showcasing the project's progress, shared narrative concept and planned solutions.

The meeting marked an important step towards creating interconnected cultural tourism experiences that highlight the shared heritage of the two Adriatic shores.
