FORTIC (From remains Of the war to the aRchiTecture of peace in cross-border area of Italy-Croatia) Kick-off Meeting is set for 14 and 15 May, 2024, and it will take place in Pula.

The aim of project FORTIC is to address key territorial challenges in the Adriatic cross-border area, including the lack of digital solutions for sustainable tourism development, seasonal dependency in tourism activities, the integration of green and digital technologies in cultural heritage promotion. 

By leveraging the cultural heritage of fortifications, the project seeks to enhance the role of cultural heritage in promoting sustainable tourism while integrating digital solutions and inclusive social models tailored to the needs of vulnerable groups and heritage communities. Through pilot actions, FORTIC aims to test digital and physical solutions to improve access to cultural heritage, develop strategic documents, and facilitate the exchange of best practices through various events.
