GUSTI Cross-Border Round Table of Gastro-Diplomats
As part of the GUSTI project, the Cross-Border Round Table of Gastro-Diplomats will take place online on 11 September 2026, starting at 10:00 CEST.
The event will bring together GUSTI project partners, regional representatives and local stakeholders from the participating Croatian and Italian regions to exchange experiences and discuss the future development and long-term sustainability of the Cross-Border Gastro-Diplomacy Network.
Organised as an interactive virtual panel discussion, the Round Table will provide an opportunity to jointly assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to the functioning and further development of the Network. The discussion will focus on four main thematic areas: the Network’s operating principles, stakeholder cooperation, the connection between local, cross-border and international levels, and priorities for future joint activities.
Particular attention will be given to identifying concrete priorities and actions that can support the continuation and further development of the Gastro-Diplomacy Network beyond the lifetime of the GUSTI project. The contributions collected during the discussion will be analysed through a TOWS Matrix and used to develop strategic guidelines for the Network’s long-term sustainability.
The Round Table will be held in English and will include moderated panel discussions as well as opportunities for participating stakeholders to contribute their perspectives, experiences and recommendations.
