Shipping Forwarding Meets Industry 2025
At the event “Shipping Forwarding Meets Industry 2025”, the LP and some of the PPs have met the Senior representatives of the port sector: ports, operators and other representatives of the transport world, including the Italian Ministry of Transport.
This conference represented a special opportunity to exchange views and experiences, as well as project ideas, and above all to acquire information on digital tools and methodologies that can be applied for the improvement of the cyber part in ports (integral activity of WP2-Activity 2.1 for the joint definition of solutions and actions).
From this conference, the entire partnership and regions of the programme area could benefit from a fruitful exchange, where they could find important contacts for the life cycle and dissemination of the project and also acquire and open a debate on the ideas and solutions on the actions featured in WP2.
Digitisation is a key factor in the efficiency of logistics flows, which within port infrastructures create ever-increasing data exchanges that must be managed, monitored and controlled securely. The session of the event, entirely dedicated to this critical aspect, have addressed in detail the relevance of cybersecurity in ports, with a presentation of the CRESPORT project and its first activity: activity 1.1 and the first deliverables achieved, with a view to disseminating the project's systemic approach.
