The conference will bring together policymakers, researchers, innovation experts and project partners to explore how artificial intelligence and advanced computing – including the Leonardo supercomputer – can contribute to sustainable development, resilience and innovation in coastal and maritime territories.
The agenda features keynote speeches, institutional representatives, project case studies, round tables and interactive working groups. Priority 1 projects will present concrete challenges from the field and showcase AI-based solutions in areas such as environmental monitoring, fisheries, marine ecosystems and blue bioeconomy. In the afternoon, participants will take part in parallel co-design workshops (“Idea Space”) focused on transforming territorial needs into practical AI use cases. A guided visit to CINECA and the Leonardo supercomputer will also be organised (by invitation only).
