About section
About
The ECCENTRIC project focuses on enhancing emerging sectors of the blue economy in the Adriatic area, specifically marine energies, maritime safety and surveillance, and infrastructure. It aims to strengthen collaboration between these sectors and research institutions, fostering innovation in products and processes. The project also promotes sustainability in the blue economy, aligning with the European Green Deal objectives. ECCENTRIC will produce expertise and support for SMEs, enhance circularity, and attract financial investments to drive sustainable growth. Through technology transfer actions, business model improvements, and the development of sectoral roadmaps, ECCENTRIC seeks to establish a sustainable growth plan and support its adoption by regional policymakers. Cross-border collaboration is crucial to combine SME needs with advanced technologies from Croatian and Italian researchers, fostering a community dedicated to blue economy innovation and growth.
