Job & Orienta

The workshop “L’AI non ha confini! I progetti Interreg Italia-Croazia tra futuro e innovazione” (“AI Knows No Boundaries! Interreg Italy–Croatia Projects Between Future and Innovation”), held on 27 November 2025 as part of Job&Orienta in Verona—Italy’s leading event dedicated to guidance, education, training, and employment—offered students and the public a dynamic overview of the opportunities provided by European programmes for innovation and future skills development.
Moderated by Marco Braga from t2i, the session introduced the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme as a cross-border cooperation instrument supporting research, technology, and new development models, with a particular focus on the application of artificial intelligence in funded projects.
The workshop featured an engaging structure, starting with an introduction to the Programme, followed by an interactive Mentimeter challenge that actively involved participants in exploring the content and objectives of the 3EFISHING, ECCENTRIC, and BRIGANTINE projects. This participatory format translated complex topics into accessible language, stimulating curiosity and raising awareness of innovation’s role in research and industry.
Further enriching the session, researchers and lecturers from the University of Udine shared their experiences with the BRIGANTINE project, highlighting how interdisciplinarity is crucial for successful project implementation.
Overall, the event reinforced Interreg as a platform for growth, experimentation, and connection between young people, universities, and the innovation ecosystem. Participants were encouraged to follow the Programme’s social media channels to stay updated on future initiatives.
