Introduction
Introduction
The ADRIJOROUTES project was created to enhance and expand the ADRIJO platform, the Adriatic Ports Cultural Network, developed as part of the completed REMEMBER project (https://programming14-20.italy-croatia.eu/web/remember) to preserve and promote the cultural and maritime heritage of eight Italian and Croatian ports: Ancona, Ravenna, Venice, Trieste, Rijeka, Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik, creating a cultural bridge between the two shores of the Adriatic.
The name ADRIJO itself is a fusion of the Italian word "Adriatico" and the Croatian word "Jadransko," symbolizing the shared identity of these regions.
