Final Event in Rimini and Different waves in Riccione
Researchers and project partners from Italy and Croatia will share the results of monitoring and research activities dedicated to underwater soundscapes, cetaceans, fisheries, and marine ecosystem conservation.
The conference will be held in both Italian and English, with simultaneous interpretation available throughout the event. Participants may attend either in person or online via Zoom, with the possibility to select their preferred language channel.
The event will also host the SCHOOL ART CHALLENGE award ceremony.
The conference will officially open INTO THE BLUE – Sea Life Fest 2026, organized by Fondazione Cetacea in collaboration with the Biennale del Mare e dell’Acqua of the Municipality of Rimini. This year’s festival theme: CO-EXISTENCES.
The day will continue with one of the festival’s most evocative events: Different Waves in Piazzale Ceccarini, Riccione at 9:00 PM.
An immersive artistic performance combining music, ocean sounds, visual arts, and storytelling to explore the theme of coexistence between humans and the marine environment. Through a dialogue between art and science, Different Waves invites audiences to reflect on the invisible connections that bind us to the sea, transforming marine data and underwater soundscapes into an engaging and emotional experience.
