Students art challenge

The European challenge, promoted by the Interreg Italy–Croatia project UNDERSEA – UNDerwatER Soundscape bEyond Ais, invites Italian and Croatian high school students to represent, through art, the effects of anthropogenic noise on the underwater environment and the organisms that inhabit it.
An initiative combining environmental education and cross-border creativity to raise awareness among young people about the issue of underwater noise pollution.
Artworks must be submitted by the end of March 2026.
Selected pieces will be exhibited during World Ocean Day (June 2026) in Rimini and as part of a traveling exhibition across Italy and Croatia.
A jury composed of scientists and artists will select the winners.
