International Conference in Pescara: Sustainability, Blue Economy and Culture
The Municipality of Pescara, together with the Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities (FAIC), is hosting the institutional conference “The Development of the Adriatic-Ionian Area: Sustainability, the Blue Economy, and Culture” on 27 September 2025 at the Aurum in Pescara, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Held under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the event will highlight the Italian Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR). It will gather mayors, city representatives, and stakeholders from across the Adriatic-Ionian macroregion to discuss three key themes: sustainability, the blue economy, and culture.
The round table will serve as the heart of the conference, providing an opportunity to identify synergies and develop common strategies for the benefit of the entire region.
