Monitoring, measuring, and early warning systems (WP1)

This section presents the results of the STRENGTH Project's activities aimed at quantitatively measuring the impact of climate change concerning the most relevant hazards which threaten the urban and coastal ecosystems of the Ferrara (in Italy), Ravenna (in Italy) and Kaštela (in Croatia).

These hazards include sea level rise, extreme flooding, and earthquakes.

Assessment of vulnerability to natural hazards and climate change hazards (WP2)

This section outlines the results of the activities of the STRENGTH Project's activities related to quantitative assessment of the impact of the seismic hazard on Kastela (in Croatia) and climate change-induced hazards on Ferrara, Ravenna, and Kaštela.

This evaluation is intended to be a tool that public agencies and municipalities can use for prioritizing and planning interventions.
