Final Workshops of the Creative Living Laboratories Successfully Completed

INOVAcija completed the Creative Living Laboratory workshops within the SOCRAT project, exploring local heritage through art, gastronomy, and traditional crafts. Final sessions in Nin, Ražanac, and Pag showcased creative activities and cross-border collaboration with Italian mentors, linking culture and sustainable tourism.

HABITAT Living Lab brings together art, cheese-making traditions and research on sustainable tourism in Puglia – Italy

The HABITAT Creative Living Lab explored the connections between art, traditional cheese-making and sustainable tourism in Puglia, Italy. Bringing together artists, artisans and cultural actors from Italy and Croatia, the initiative combined local knowledge, artistic research and territorial exploration to highlight the region’s cultural and gastronomic heritage.

Kvarner Opens Doors to Creativity and Sustainable Tourism Through the EU SOCRAT Project

How can art, local heritage and community collaboration shape the future of sustainable tourism? This question was at the heart of a participatory meeting held in Opatija, Kvarner on 10 March 2026 as part of the EU-funded SOCRAT – Socializing Craft & Contemporary Art for Sustainable Tourism project. Bringing together representatives from the cultural and creative sector, the meeting created a space for dialogue, inspiration and the development of new ideas that connect creativity with Opatija’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
