SOCRAT Project Research Results Presentation Held

On November 7, 2025, at the Centre for Creative Industries in Zadar, the results
achieved so far by the SOCRAT – Socializing Craft & Contemporary Art for Sustainable
Tourism project were presented. The project is being implemented within the Interreg
Italy–Croatia programme, with the participation of partners from Croatia and Italy,
including the University of Zadar and the Institution for the Development of
Competencies, Innovation and Specialisation of Zadar County, INOVAcija.
During the programme, the results of research into the cultural and creative sector of
Zadar County were presented, along with examples of good practice developed within
the project. As part of the expert presentations, Assist. Prof. Gabrijela Vidić, PhD
presented the SOCRAT strategy and the joint cross-border methodology, which connects
artists, cultural and creative industries, and civil society organisations in the
development of sustainable, innovative and collaborative tourism prototypes.
The event concluded with a discussion on the possibilities for further development of
creative solutions and strengthening collaboration within the project.
