SITE's final conference is almost here! - SITECON 2026
SITECON 2026 will mark an important milestone for the SITE project and its cross-border journey toward more inclusive, accessible and welcoming tourist destinations.
The conference, titled “Shaping Inclusive Tourist Destinations & Societies”, will focus on how Universal Design, accessibility and cooperation can support the development of tourism experiences that are usable, enjoyable and meaningful for everyone.
Throughout the day, participants will exchange scientific insights, good practices, project results and innovative solutions in the field of inclusive tourism. The programme will include the presentation of the SITE project, the Hackathon winning solution PathMate, and dedicated sessions featuring practical examples, research and initiatives related to accessible and inclusive tourism.
As the final event of the project, SITECON 2026 will provide an opportunity to share the knowledge developed within SITE and reflect on how its results can inspire future actions across the Italy-Croatia Programme area and beyond.
