30/09/2025
The countdown has begun! The University of Trieste, together with the partners of the SITE Project, is thrilled to announce the upcoming Hackathon: “Inclusive Tourism for Everyone” — a two-day challenge dedicated to imagining accessible and inclusive tourism solutions for real-world destinations.
Taking place on 26–27 November at the Urban Center in Trieste, the Hackathon will gather creative minds and motivated students from across disciplines to work side by side with accessibility experts and tourism professionals. Together, they will co-design solutions that make travel more welcoming for all — from people with disabilities to families with young children, elderly travelers, and beyond. Whether digital or not, the solutions developed will all be a an impostant part of the SITE project.
This cross-border initiative, reflects our shared commitment to reshaping how tourism is experienced, ensuring it is accessible, equitable, and enjoyable for everyone.
